Data Deletion

What we store

• Account data of portal users (name, e-mail, organization membership).
• Page configurations, version history, editor chat history, and aggregate page statistics.
• Access tokens for integrations you actively connected (e.g. Shopify, Meta Ads) and the data retrieved through them: order references with amounts, and campaign spend figures. We never retrieve or store names or addresses of your shop's end customers.

Disconnect an integration (immediate)

1. Sign in at app.sophistication.io.
2. Open Settings → Connections.
3. Click Disconnect on the integration (e.g. Meta Ads or Shopify).

The stored access token is deleted immediately and no further data is retrieved. For Meta you can additionally remove the "Sophistication" app under Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, which revokes the authorization on Meta's side.

Delete your account and data

E-mail support@sophistication.io from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We will delete your account, the stored integration tokens, page data, and statistics within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. Data we are legally required to retain (in particular invoices and accounting records, up to 10 years under German commercial and tax law) is deleted after the statutory retention period expires.
